This is the first post for the tools category. The idea is to collect useful tools, insights, books, procedures – whatever helps when doing research. Be it for academic, business or personal purposes. I found that today’s internet offers many types of support that may make all the difference in finding, collecting, processing, understanding and presenting information. The world is changing rapidly, so today’s recommendation may not be the same as yesterday’s. Knowing what to look for is half of the struggle. Of course, there is no substitute for old fashioned writing, reading and thinking – but every little bit helps.

I have a secret agenda too. I am trying to write and publish things which are not finished. For me, that is hard. I tend to wait for the right time or make it the right time; to do just what is possible and be content, that is a new enterprise for me. Good for the soul, I think
